TPWD Hunter Ed Field Course

This Hunter Ed Field Course satisfies OPTION 2 - INTERNET + FIELD COURSE of the TPWD Hunter Education Certification Program and is ideal for those under 17 years of age and adults wanting a more hands-on field and live-fire experience during the basic course. Participants must complete the online portion prior to arriving.

This field course has 4 components – skills trail, live-fire with firearm handling, ethics, and an exam. Students must pass the exam with a 75% or higher to successfully complete their Hunter Education and receive their certification.
